Yang Style: 8 Form
Mainly practiced for its health benefits, Yang Style is currently the most popular style of Tai Chi. The simplified 8 form establishes a good foundation while requiring only a small space to practice.
Yang Style: 16 Form
Prerequisite: Yang Style 8 Form
In the 16 Form, we will learn new postures as well as review some learned in the 8 Form. Some consider this form less demanding as there are no one legged stances.
Yang Style: 24 Form
Prerequisite: Yang Style 16 Form
In 1956, the Chinese Sports Committee created this “short” form of tai chi. Containing postures from the traditional Yang Family Style 103 Form, the 24 Form is a simplified version that introduces the principles of Tai Chi.
Review & Refinement
Yang Style: 24 Form Review
Prerequisite: Yang Style 24 Form
This class is for those who have already learned the 24 Form and would like to deepen their practice.
